      Tbh I didn't really think about most of these. I've never used contacts.

      Girlie, I was about to go into the eye lenses and eye contact or something you call them now I don’t even wanna do them anymore. It’s too difficult and you have to take care of them because your eye is so sensitive. Thank you for getting me out of the eye contact thank you very much😂🙏🏻

      Even if they aren't prescription contacts- Get your eye health checked anyway. You can damage, reshape, and scar your cornea. Then you can't see through the scar. so fun.

      I've never worn contacts but I have very sensitive eyes and i do makeup sometimes, and a lot of this advice was really helpful 🫶 clean your brushes people!!!!

      I agreee, always check all of your stuff, I'd gotten some contacts and they came with some solution. I was checking my stuff and the solution was expired by a whole year, reached out to the company, they were super nice, and they sent me a new bottle

      As a dailies contact wearer. That means I put in and then take out that contact everyday here are my tips: this tip I got from my eye doctor after concerns of scratching my eye getting my contacts out, use eye drops the kind for wetting your eyeball put that in before you take out the contact. This will help it get slippery from your eyeball and make removal a lot safer. I also use a scissor method to keep my eyeball open when putting in my contacts

      Some people do absolutely wild stuff with their contacts and just get lucky, others not so much. I follow a girl on insta who wore contacts in the shower and lost all sight in one eye- it really is that easy for any single mistake to cost you your vision. But then there was also that woman who didn't realise she was supposed to take out her dailies and stacked 30 pairs of contacts on top of each over the span of a month and was totally fine? Its seriously all just down to luck

      16:00 regularly sleeping in my contacts when i was 15 isn't the worst thing i've ever done to myself (because i was lucky and nothing happened) but like, holy shit

      Gang gang, y’all just making my glasses wearing behind more terrified of contacts. 😭🙏 I still haven’t mentally recovered from that lady from the 1900s who wore glass eye contacts, and got hit in the face by a ball, lost both of them, and years later after she became blind in one eye discovered one of the missing lenses was in the back of her eye. 😭 I mean the human body is miraculous but also I can’t believe it was there for decades and now I have a rational fear of contacts

      I used to wear daily contacts for YEARS and they always tried to get me to put them in AFTER my makeup bc it was "safer"??? But like no??? Its so much more risky! Makeup care is also so so important! Thank you for making this PSA type video 🙏
