3D printed “Maximilian” style mitten gauntlets (1510-1525) #3dprinting #costume #cosplay #larp

These 3d printed harnesses are nothing short of breath-taking with how precisely accurate the little details are to real armour. Watching them in motion is almost mesmerizing.
That said, I notice it appears the plates on the thumb are attached to the glove, but not the rest of the gauntlet. Was there a technical limitation that prevented building a hinged and riveted joint, or is it still a WIP?
Did you make the under glove? If not where did you get it, I haven't found any good glove to use as a base for gauntlets
Looks like a good way to break your own hands if you hit anything with them.
so is the leg harness next then the mid 15th gothic?
Just finished the non maximmilian gauntlets
Wow, really good stuff, but you need to do something with gap between main gauntlet and finger
The rest of the armour was fine, but equipping those small gauntlets? Over encumbered, fat roll time.
This video is clear and easy to follow It deserves more views.
did mitten gauntlets exist in the 16 century? if so make one for your other set too!
what kind of filament did you use?
Beautiful workmanship. Some of the coolest 3D printed armor I've seen.
Hi Nico, was wondering if you'd consider opening a Discord server for sharing creations and or R&D, if not do you know of any communities that might already have a discord server for that sort of thing?
Full video please?
Your work never ceases to impress me
Fix that finger strap. Why is it so high up on the fingers, smh.
