      Whoa, whoa, whoa! My brain jolted to attention for that first story. I used to attend ALA many years ago and even volunteered in the karaoke room for a few of those years. To hear that something happened during it fairly recently is mind blowing. I hadn't heard about it from any of my local anime friends. I'm so glad no one got hurt. I love when the community bands together to help people out. That poor girl won't be able to get a new car, but she can definitely afford a nice used one. The guy responsible should be paying all the people whose cars got totaled in the fire. The victims shouldn't have to open a fund to get new cars or even pay for damages. They didn't do anything to cause it, after all.

      I'm glad the guy's bail was so high. No way that numbnut could afford even 10% of that.

      If I go back to ALA at some point, I'll have to remember to ask the staff about the incident and how it impacted their policies, if applicable.

      Also, leave it to con goers to bitch and moan after convention heads decide to ban props after someone threatened to kill people. 🙄 Yes, props are cool, but you can do photoshoots outside the conversation center. Anime cons in SoCal are extremely strict on props, liquids, food, etc going into con spaces. You should see the amount of metal detectors and bag searching personnel are on staff at AX. The badge holders demanding a refund JUST because props are now banned are ridiculous adult children. Take the minor L and move on.

      The fact everyone needs to be fully aware is whenever someone dressed as the Joker even if it is meant as a joke, they will shoot up a place or cause harm in anyway in real life law enforcement will in fact take that seriously for one reason that has already happened. Someone dressed as the Joker did in fact cause a mass shooting and to my knowledge is still locked up. Just look up the name James Holmes Aurora, Colorado. In 2012 he even dyed his hair and claimed himself to be the Joker. Also, good luck asking Jason David Frank anything now. Rest in peace.

      …Y'know, I think the eeriest part of this for me is that, with the Punisher guy, the convention he went to? I went to that one. Probably not on the same day to be fair, but that's… that's seriously weird. Good grief.

      Ah yes, I remember when the power rangers committed Arson… Actually they seem to do that a lot with all the Explosions they do, they may be in serious legal trouble if they weren't saving the world… Cause they may have some kind of Immunity

      I knew it! Once I saw that LUME for women who don't shower and have stinky vajayjays come out, it was just a matter of time when the no shower stinky balls stuff for men would come out, and sure enough we have MANDO!🤣
