Chris, awesome video. I'm old enough that I saw Superman The Movie in a local(non-chain)movie theater. It's a theater that's been around since the early/mid 1900's. It was once a vaudeville theater, then became a movie theater. My Dad saw movies there when he was a kid. But anywho, we went as a family to see Superman The Movie. Seeing the opening credits and the text flying at you… to my young eyes was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I sat completely mesmerized for the entire movie. I laugh, I oohed & aahed, I cried, and I cheered. I left the theater feeling so pumped and walking on air. And yes, I believed a man could fly.
I absolutely love this. Christopher Reeve’s Superman has such a special place in my heart and the suit is just perfection, being ripped straight from the comics. I kinda miss when Superhero films tried to make their costumes as faithful as possible even if it seems a bit goofy.
From memory the Dean Cain cape was done the same way but had Velcro on the end of the straps as opposed to tying them. This looks great overall but damn if my brain is nitpicking.
Superman IV Quest for Piece is a very good movie. It hits different today due to all the wars and conflicts. Watching superman go against his own rules to try and save humanity is awesome. The scene where he addresses the UN will give you goosebumps
This my dream is my dream to owe this you are so lucky chrispher reeves is and always will be my favorite superman am trying g to get todd mcfarland to make a Christopher reeves superman figure but let me know how much you paid for this am sure it was a lot but it would be dream come true to get this .
