Part 3 of my Cosplay Countdown for 2023 was Nilou from the game Genshin Impact!
I love Genshin and have so many characters that I wish to make from it and Nilou was my current favorite at the time when I chose to make this costume!
The goal for this costume was to learn to resin Print on my new printer as well as to learn to use my new laser cutter and boy did I learn so much! The build took 2 months to make but I kind of put it on hold for a bit… So I finished it in over 5ish months.
My favorite part of this build was doing my airbrush painting on fabric technique as I feel this is the most accurate way to get the look and gradients I want without custom designing fabric.
I am however unhappy with the shirt and am in the process of altering it as I made the sleeves too short. As for the Horn/Crown thing, it shattered in my suitcase while flying to a convention so that is also being remade…
