game looks great in performance mode and the 30 fps isn’t really that bad. it’s wild to see everyone turn into frame rate aficionados over the past couple of years lol. if the game is multiplayer.. yeah! give me my frames!
but dawg we just gonna be smoking a joint and running around solo stealing eikons from people you can calm down a bit. game is hella massive as it is
FF series I~III testing phase (great games but not a must play) IV~VI pioneer JRPG era of gaming VII~X globalize the JRPG XII~XV testing phase 2.0 FF7R and XVI finally realizing identity of their franchise
We might not see XVII for very long time or not at all but we’re on the path of getting remakes of older title so no need to worry
I so f-ing love how they implemented FFXIV's Chimera here <3
The Dragon's Voice – The Dragon's Voice is a massive AoE attack that deals heavy damage and inflicts the debuff Paralysis to all targets outside of melee range.
The Ram's Voice – The Ram's Voice is a large circular AoE attack that deals heavy damage and inflicts the debuff Frostbite to all targets near Chimera.
I'm really happy to learn that they are looking into button binding. I was daydreaming yesterday if I could JUST swap circle and r1 buttons it would probably be perfect for me personally.
I never cared for NG+ on any game. Only game I replayed like 8 times was Demon's Souls. Cuz' I enjoyed the game so much I wanted to get max level in it. Dark Souls I beat 3+ times to get the different endings iirc. That's it. Every other game I tried NG+ on I got bored before beating it on the NG+.
So yeah, overall I just don't get the appeal, unless it's for different endings. I.E Dialogue heavy games with multiple different endings, inFamous franchise, Rogue-likes/lites, and souls games for the different endings. With that said though, I still prefer if I can reload the save data or something or chapter select just to see the other endings. Like NieR: Automata is a good example of this. I don't want to replay the whole game no matter how different or more challenging it is, I just want to 100% games sometimes. Without wasting too much time.
Dang is motion blur really bothering people that much in the demo? I noticed it but to me it didn't seem that prevalent since I got used to it quick. Interesting how people are affected by certain game effects more than others
Idk why they didn't have motion blur toggleable. Its like a known issue in modern games that it makes people sick and I literally can't even play it because ill get sick.
Cool addition(s) for a NG+ mode, but I'm in the minority here with this opinion: this game looks unbelievably underwhelming. The combat, the visual clutter and the complete departure from what made primary entries in the series great previously is a huge turn off for me. This is "high fantasy" DMC and it's 101% not my bag. For those of you who are excited, which seems to be a lot of the community, awesome. I hope the game is fun for you. But I won't be buying it or playing it.
I love that you brought up tactics cuz this game is giving me a lot of tactics vibes! Tactics being one of my all time favourites! This game has been the FF that I’ve enjoyed the most since I was a kid!

4:09 Clive may be able to kill a Chimera, but Clive’s dog can withstand Clive’s whole hand stuffed in its head

The series tries to copy devil may cry so hard. What even is this game. Shame
feel like im seeing too much of the game at this point. It's coming out friday stop giving it all away!
I'm hoping they remake FF8 after finishing FF7 remake project. FF 16 looks dope though.
I’m glad Ultima Weapon is locked to new game+, only the strong should wield such a power.

Wow so you wont fight the true final boss of the game until you make it to the end of FF mode.
I'm curious if therre will be hidden hunts and superbosses that you can only fight in new game+
At least that gives us a reason to use up all of those elixirs.
D-1
It just set in that it’s releasing tonight, can’t wait to play it.
I got heavy tactics vîbes while playing the demo

Jesus Christ, they aren't even hiding the fact it's a spiritual Devil May Cry game.
I'm so excited
Wait that Chimera is literally the same design as FF14's and it literally has the same moveset lmao.

So the PS5 can't run this game in 4K60?
Ah good so instead of it taking 13 years to defeat a random enemy, it'll take 44 years to defeat 2 different random enemies. Nice.
Am I the only one wishing for FF to become turned based again ?

I was a hater, bought it, 3 hours in, and it's marmite, don't know whether I love it or hate it.
Love the story, love the gameplay, but I do not like the eikon fights so far.
I'm hype for this! This is like Ninja Garden Sigma where at higher difficulties stronger enemies are introduced early and then have different types
To quote someone elses comment from an old video, the demo of this game made me go from not really caring to a day one purchase.
Intro song please
