Why Kyoto University lets Graduating Students Wear Whatever They Want #art #cosplay #funfact

  1. I also think it’s really fun that some people choose to go to Kyoto University specifically because of its graduation ceremony.

The university, founded in 1897, has also produced some very creative alumni, such as 2019 Nobel laureate in chemistry Akira Yoshino, who created the first safe, production-viable lithium-ion battery, as well as famous Japanese writer Teru Takakura.

  2. This is also a bittersweet moment because this will be the last they will be able to express themselves because after that.

That pressures of Japanese Society and the culture "The Nail that sticks out gets Hammered" will encroach upon their individuality and force them to be just another thing not even a person.

  3. I don’t understand why we can’t do this in America, one reason I skipped my high school graduation was due to how boring it would be to dress the same as everyone else and not be able to decorate robes or hats. At least make it fun for everyone as we wait in the hot outdoors for 200 people to walk the stage 😕

This stand belongs to Polpo, and it’s from Golden Wind.

  5. The one you said traditional clothing on is not traditional Japanese clothing, it looks Palestinian. Perhaps they’re an ally.
