『チェンソーマン』ビームのサメマスクの作り方 – コスプレチュートリアル(型紙付き)

Hello again. Today I want to do a one day build. So I am going to do a Chainsaw Man video. Today I’m going to make Beam’s shark mask or face or whatever it is. Now if you want to make this yourself because you’re a wee, you can do so because the patterns will be available at the costbe website. I will be using them too since I made them, but you can just print them out, trim the edges, tape them together, and you’re all set to go. This thing will be entirely made out of low density foam, which is probably the easiest foam to work with. The best thing about this mask is that it’s very cheap to make. You can pretty much fit all the patterns on like 1/3 of a small EVA foam sheet. In this case, I’m using 5 mm lowdensity foam, but to be honest, 7 mm would work as well. So, I just cut everything out with a knife. And make sure to make this as clean as possible. The uglier your cuts, the uglier your seams will be. The gills I cut out with an X-acto knife. You can, of course, freehand them however you like. I just did whatever as well. Now, before gluing, I also shape it a little better using a heat gun. This will just make the whole thing easier. I’m using contact cement for everything. And since it’s such an organic shape, it’s really handy that I’m using low density foam. It’s just way easier to shape and glue together. Some parts of the pattern need angled edges. You can cut this with a knife, but I prefer using a Dremel because skill issue. All right. All right. With everything glued together, I sanded the seams a little bit. However, and this is optional, I also decided on putting on some layers of quick seal to hide them just a little bit more. All right. So, normally I was planning on making this video a one day build video, but because I use this filler and I use it excessively, it is no longer a one-day build, but a two-day build. It’s whatever. The thing is, you don’t have to do this. I did it because I wanted to get rid of the seams to make it look more organic. I don’t want it to look like glued foam anymore. You don’t have to do this. You can just glue it together, prime and paint, and you’re done. Right? But now it’s a two-day build and that’s fine. I’m just going to leave it here overnight and then tomorrow I can come back to prime and paint it. With the quick seal dry, I sand it all again, but this time with a very fine sanding paper. I also decided to glue in some see-through black fabric at the gills so that you don’t see your eyes. In hindsight, it maybe would have been better to glue it after painting, but whatever, we ball. All right, so it dried overnight and I sanded it a little bit and it’s baby smooth right now. So that means I can start priming it. Now, what you could normally do is just apply a cost paint primer and then use some acrylics to paint over it. Perfectly valid. However, in this video, I want to try something different and I’m going to use latex. Now, what I want to do is mix my latex with my cost paint and dab it on with a sponge to create like a fishlike texture. Even though it’s a demon, but whatever. Now, I’m not going to call myself a latex expert. I haven’t worked that much with it before, but what I do know is that you have to let it dry enough. If you don’t let it dry and you want to apply a second layer, you’re just going to tear off the first one. So, that’s something I’m going to have to keep in mind. I mixed some blue co paint primer with latex and applied it with a sponge. If you are making this, maybe it would have been better to first use some black paint and then, you know, have that as a ground layer. But whatever, it works. I just need some extra layers because the quick seal is seeping through now. But it will work out. I gave it around four layers and then three more layers of latex mixed with the blue metallic cospin to make it a little less cartoony and shine just a little bit more. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that latex severely changes color as it dries. So, better do some tests with it before you apply it to the mask. Something I didn’t do. All that’s left now is to just add some highlights around the gills and on the edges of the fin. And then finally, I decided to add an elastic band so that I can wear it. All right. So, even though I use this elastic band so that I can wear the mask, it’s not what I recommend. What would be better if you’re actually cosplaying beam is to just attach this mask to a wig and then wearing the wig like that. I just attached this so that I can wear it for the video, right? To show it off how it looks like on a face. Uh, I can still see through the gills even though not that much, but it’s Chainsaw Man. When will you ever see anything in a Chainsaw Man cosplay, right? It took me two days to make, but you can definitely do it in one day if you really believe in yourself. Anyway, I want to thank my buddy Muskas Cosplay for uh giving me the idea for making it because I was looking for something to make and it was a fun little build. If you want to make it yourself, the patterns will be available for free in the description down below. You can go download them. Thank you very much for watching. I’m Sky Shark and I will see you in the next one.

  1. This is incredible! I’d LOVE to see a Violence mask from chainsaw man as well. I’m thinking about buying foam, and trying to make one of those.

  2. Tried printing out the file and am having issues getting it to print across multiple pages. Any idea on what the issue may be/how to print it properly

  3. I'm trying to build this and i have a few questions before having to buy a lot of stuff 😅
Do you actually reccomand to use kwik seal?
Should i also buy black prime-paint on top of the blue one?
I already have a cyan and a black acrylic… are they fine for the finishing touches or should I buy anything specific?
Thank you very much, I think your project is amazing ❤
