  1. Anytime I mention crimping wigs theres cosplay veterans kicking down my door saying they hate crimping and teasing is better 😭😭
Like it's fine if you dont like crimping!! But some people do! You dont need to talk about how much better teasing is than crimping anytime someone mentions it

Btw, always love y'alls wigs, you make me feel a lot more comfortable restyling wigs I've done in the past!!! Most of the time I'm like "no I need to make this wig as indestructible as possible so it NEVER has to be styled again!!!"

  2. I’ve styled multiple wigs before, including crimped wigs, and I have worn them before in public in cosplay. You cant really see the crimping too much from afar. In my opinion, the texture makes it look a little more realistic to the vibe of wherever the cosplay is from. Of course, this is just my opinion, you guys don’t have to listen, but in conclusion, crimping and teasing wigs can add more detail to your cosplay if you do it correctly! :3

  3. glad I'm not the only one who doesnt like Umbra wigs. They just looked odd to me, like sticking a bike helmet on your head with a wig over it >_> dykwIm?

  4. Im going to show this to my mother to convince her to buy me crimper (I have been begging for ages) cus my Denki is wig literally all hair spray and incredibly painful to style especially as a baby cosplay ahhh (I washed and am half way through restyling him)

  5. I'm honestly y'all's biggest fan I've been watching y'all for years honestly, y'all made me love alot of animes and video games, baking and cosplay, I just stared cosplaying and I would really REALLY love if you could do a sort of tutorial or video on newbie cosplaying ALSO I LOVE YALL SMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM YALL ARE MY FAVE YOUTUBERSSSSWW

  6. It’s essentially a volumizing process, like how drag queens do backcombing and teasing. You gotta do the work to make it look good, and the top layer has to be smoothed to your desired smoothness

  7. COSPLAY PEOPLE please u need help on an issue im having styling a wig for kinger (my fav lol) so i have a crimper and i wanted to use it on this dirty blonde wig, but no matter what i do it doesn’t stay:( ( I’ve tried in smaller sections or increase of heat but non of its working) it also has small ends at the base of the wig that or teased and i cant make them go away because they make the wig look too big on my head, so id appreciate any tips or advice from anyone 😭 please i need to cosplay him ive had the whole cosplay for a month or two 😖😖😖

  8. I’m trying to cosplay as my hero academia but I can’t but one day I will but I love your channel you make me smile you make my day and yall make me happy.

  9. I don't use synthetic wigs all that often, but I find that spikey (often short haired wigs) really stay in shape because of crimping and teasing! I worked on a Cherry Bomb wig a while ago (was originally a cheap Power csm wig) and I was trying to figure out how to get the fullness of her hair and crimping saved me while styling that wig!

  10. god I am SO relieved to see someone else that doesn't like umbra wigs. I get why people would like that style but in my personal preference I just prefer the natural look.

  11. Last time I tried to tease a long wig it was a NIGHTMARE so I've gotten a crimper but trying to not leave crimp marks is a struggle. Appreciate your insight on this!

(Also I'm pretty sure umbrawigs is friends with wholewheatpete or something along those lines so even if someone does like her wig style she's still very iffy)
