The “Spin and Sit” story reminds me of when I cosplayed Dante from Devil May Cry and somebody asked me if I could do the dance he does from the 5th game (which, if you didn’t know, is essentially an entire Michael Jackson-style dance). I politely declined. 😂
Omg I feel you on the Tracer story. Being asked to do some sort of move that the character does or an impression is a nightmare if you're not prepared for it 😭 When I do cosplays that are outside of my comfort zone I'm always scared ppl are going to ask me to do something and I'm going to disappoint them LMFAO

I remember reading about the sword guy outside the convention centre. I think it was Fan Expo 2019? But yeah can't find anything about that either. And yeah, I've heard… stories about someone taking photos outside the convention centre, including in the food court (and without consent), for possible use in AR promo material.
My disappointing a celebrity moment was at MAGFest about 6 years ago. I was first in line to get autographs from these youtubers. The problem? I had NO IDEA who these guys were. I was in line because they were my brother's favorite youtubers at the time and i wanted to get autographs for him as a gift. I felt so akward because i was like, first in line and admitted my unfamiliariry to them. Like i literally only recognized one by his voice becuase my brother would watch them on the family TV. They were still nice but I couldnt help but think that i mustve looked like some guy who was going to sell this autograph on ebay 😅
I regret my mitsuri wig it was too heavy and would show my hair line😔 and worst part too is I didn’t see a rengoku try and high five me i Felt so bad I didn’t see him
The "Spin and Sit" story reminds me of when I was cosplaying Venti from genshin impact (it's ok if you don't know) and someone wanted a picture of me basically laying on the ground while another cosplayer as the character Signora was "kicking me". I'm so glad I bring a towel with me at every con because I'm sure that floor was dirty but I was too shy to say no. So I just laid my towel and posed to hide it while someone "kicked me". I'm glad the cosplayer also wanted a selfie with me afterwards because it would have been so strange to just go "ok bye I'm done you can get up".
