I 3D printed a tie pilot and ATAT driver cosplay a couple of years ago took a a couple of months to do only work on it in my spare time now and again.
Amazing man! Such an underrated film and trooper design. I love this and the patrol trooper from the same film. My goal is to do that one this year.
what filament is best for strength and rigidity to print a 3mm thick flat panel?

I wish my Neptune 4 worked that well. I just got done replacing the motherboard on mine and am fully expecting it to break again in the future 😂
When we print helmets we use visors of various colors from Amazon
Ohhh with the boots they need a switch so when your foot is down it is red and when you lift your foot it turns red. Then it looks like the magnet is turning on and off like in the movie. This will be a cool cosplay.

Even though I hate Star Wars, those boots looks cool. I know how to 3D print those boots with magnets and Velcro inside, to make the boots attach to a body suit, so you can put them on and remove easily.
Ambitious you are. I'm interested to see how it ends up, but there is no way I'd ever tackle something like that.
Helmet looks like the Halo ROD helmet! Very cool character, hopefully it’s not too hot!
Why a whole year… you have multiple 3d printers.
a fun costume, very little reference for the costume, alot of it was custom made so there are limited avaliable parts on shelves.
we are lucky we see the coat in mando scene when he boards at the space port.

So, is the tilt release feature on the Saturn 4 Ultra, the game changer that it appears to be? I just got my first resin printer, the GKtwo, a year ago, but I've been eyeing this one since it was released.
This is very cool! I've had my Neptune 4 plus for about a year now and it's been great! Thanks for recommending it! Now I just need to figure out how to update the software because I can't tell what I'm doing wrong with the instructions on their website 😅
Just a friendly little tip for next time: it would have been easier to sand the pieces smooth before gluing them together. You're gonna have a heck of a time sanding that faceplate smooth with it recessed like that

I made one of those helmets last year, and I literally just started looking into making the full suit a few days ago. There's a facebook group or two with a couple people that have made full costumes

Hey uncle Jessie! I love your work and it really inspired me to print more. I got an Neptune 4 max too but something went wrong with the klipper one day and I have to replace the eMMC card. Do you have any recommendations on how I can restore the klipper on it? Or maybe even js get the printer operational?
