Good afternoon and welcome to Lloyd’s Costume and Prop Emporium. How might you be this fine afternoon? Lovely. Well, I’m very very happy to hear that. So, what brings you in my little shop today? Are you uh perhaps preparing for Halloween, which is right around the corner, or maybe a a fun costume party with some friends, or perhaps an elaborate ball. All right. Very well. The reason I ask is not a lot of people think when they get a costume, you know, they just don’t do, you know. There’s a lot more to finding the perfect costume than you think. It all comes down to personal interest. Believe it or not, yes. I mean, sure, I can throw on you this purple coat, but I have no motive to wear that purple coat, you know? So, it all comes down to interest and personal, you know, attributes. So with that said, when you say that you are looking for a costume, what exactly do you have in mind? Because as you can see, wall to wall, we are packed with all sorts of costumes, uniforms, hats, accessories, weird funky props that if I wasn’t in this business, I’d have no idea what it was for. Do you know what this is? These are actually futuristic handcuffs. See, they do light up as well. You have to put batteries in it, but the things they come out with. Or, you know, such props as rubber guns. It’s completely rubber. Pretty crazy, huh? Looks real though. But it is rubber. your plastic battery operated guns, you know, which as you can see here also lights We also have things like simple rope. You know, if you want to get out on the called Rodeo. Make yourself a little lasso swinging around. Uh but yeah, all kinds of little gadgets and just things that you never knew existed or things you’ve seen in movies. There’s a chance we might have it. Like this track recorder from Star Trek. You can just press the little buttons and then it lights up like a little Christmas tree. a communicator from Star Trek, which can be multi-used, any space themed party or or whatnot, or you can go to the extreme. Now, this is a little more elaborate. Uh, you’re going to have to walk around with this thing. So, but it’s really neat. But it is really really cool, isn’t it? Yes. Now costumes. So many costumes. It’s unreal. Um, so what exactly are you planning on going as you know? Have you given it any thought? Not really. Okay. Well, I am more than happy to help. So tell me some of your interests. Yeah. Movies, music. Okay. All right. So you’re you’re like me. You’re in the sci-fi. Okay. Now, this party that you’re going to, is it, you know, is it a certain theme that you have to go along with or or is it freestyle? Freestyle. Okay. at least a little harder, but you know, no worries. We’ll get you all hooked up. Okay. So, your interests are sci-fi, vintage stuff, music. Okay. Well, Tell you what, how about if I show you some costumes? See what you think. Yeah. Okay. Let me start with You said that you’re into history. Am I correct? Let’s start off with that. Okay. So, let me show you some of the props. that I have. Okay, this here belongs to a Viking costume, which I’ll show you in a second, but it comes with some some fake leather accessories. This here is a shoulder um pad or harness type thing. Fake leather, of course. But it’s it’s a complicated little mess, but it essentially goes over your chest and and arm and and kind of just, you know, sits on your shoulder. Then we also have for that costume a sword holster also fake leather. You can feel that’s But all you do with this is you slip it through your belt and it hangs there and you can put your little sword through there or your large sword depends. You know, whatever sword you have will probably fit in there. Next, the shin guards. This completes the ensemble. Adds a little um little ruggedness to the look, you know, but you feel fake leather. as well as this one. It’s not real. So, if you have any allergens, I wouldn’t worry about it. Okay. The costume Now, of course, before I show you the Viking costume, it’s not going to be too uh over the top for your party, is it? I’ll just show you. Okay, so first we have the pants and the shirt. It’s your classic vintage draw string shirt. Next best thing to a pirate shirt. And of course it comes complete with the drawstring pants. It’s very comfortable material almost. Um it has a vintage feel like paper thin almost here. Feel But this is not it. Wait till you see this. This completes the ensemble. The Viking cape. This cape is literally the most comfortable cape you will ever try on. Not saying that you wear capes every day, but still. As you can see, it has this uh this suede outer lining kind of to represent fur or leather like oh sweet. But you can tell the inside complete cover with this smooth, soft, silky lining. And if we take a look up here, you’ll see it has these two closures with these very intricately detailed buttons. Now, here at Lloyd’s Costume Emporium, we only bring in the best top quality products for our customers. But, um, yeah, you can see the the intricately detailed designs and the buttons, big, beautiful silver buttons. And then this this fake fur is very soft here. Feel very soft to the touch. Now, we don’t have a hat to go with this costume. We have a wig. And judging by your your hair length, you’re going to need a wig. So, We have many colors of wigs to choose from. Here we have the mad scientist wig. It’s all unmaintained. kind of looks like a a wild animal. Viking. Liking. Viking. Viking. We also have, you know, semi long mullet type hair. What’s that? Yes, our wigs are 100% real human hair. Like I said, only the best. Um, if you’d like a a curly wig, curly hair Viking. But, uh, yeah, we have we have plenty of wigs to choose from. Long wigs, short wigs, curly wigs, straight wigs, black, white, brown, blonde, red. I think. Yes, we even have a green wig. This one here is for her clown costume, which goes with this this purple coat here. Um, I think the shirt and the vest are over there. I don’t know why. Let’s take a look. So, as you can see, the green wig just goes perfect with this coat. Um, the colorations are just exquisite. But, as you can see, it’s kind of a thin trench coat. It’s bright purple with these uh these golden buttons. It has a built-in vest fake pockets. The pockets do not work. Yeah, but it’s a very comfortable jacket and you can use it for more than just a clown role playing or costume, you know. You can use this as a a gangster from Dick Tracy or something like that. Or perhaps you’d like to stir up the pot and go to your party as a prisoner. This is not a costume. This is actually a Lloydville Department of Corrections standard issue inmate that was actually found in a local gas station, believe it or not. So, the individual who found it, uh, they knew I needed one and voila. We only found a shirt, though, but Or you can go as an official Lloydville Police Department police officer. We do actually have all the accessories you’ll need. the duty belt, the tactical vest, such and so forth. You’ll find that up in the uh accessories section. Or if you really want to scare the uh guests at the party, you can always go to the FBI and make a exquisite entrance. Um, these are actually legitimate. Um, they were I forget how we obtained this, but very nice hat. FBI navy blue. The rain jacket has the word letters FBI on the chest and enlarge letters on the back. Then it’s a very comfortable jacket. It’s very um soft and and uh very ventilated. You won’t sweat wearing this. You can wear this in the middle of July and you won’t break a sweat. Now, if you’re not into scaring folks at this party and you’d like to represent yourself as more of a uh people person. You can always go as a doctor, which we also have accessories, stethoscope, gloves, the works. But we have numerous types of uniforms around here. police, military, medical, the works. But uh we have some typical scrubs, both gray or navy blue. And we also have a lab coat complete with pockets that works or You said you’re a sci-fi fan, but you seem to like that lightsaber pretty well. You wouldn’t happen to be a Star Wars fan, right? I knew it. I knew it. Once you said you were a sci-fi fan, I knew you were a Star Wars nerd. Me, too. What if I were to say you could live out your Star Wars fantasy at this party? You see, we have the lightsaber, but we also have the costumes as well. Let’s start off with an Imperial officer. Here we have it. Now, as you can see, comes with a pair of black pants as well as your tunic completed. And then it has the officer’s cape, all which attaches by Velcro. Now, of course, those accessories to add to this. We have your belt. We have your holster, the works, which you’ll find over there in the uh accessories section as well. It’s it’s quite long, so you know. Who’s your favorite character in Star Wars? That’s my favorite character. Chewbacca. It’s good people. Well, you can always be Han Chewbacca’s, you know, buddy. Here we have the complete Han Solo costume, the vest with fully functional pouches and pockets. the shirt as well as the pants complete with the red stripe. Now the material. So the pants are kind of like dress pants material. I mean, these are, you know, like legitimate pants. You could wear them whenever you want. They’re very well made. The shirt is very lightweight, very ventilated. It’s very soft as well. Comfortable. The vest, the vest is kind of made like the pants. It’s almost the same material, but it’s not heavy. It’s not uh, you know, hot or anything. It’s quite nice. Quite a a nice costume. And then of course, you can’t forget the gun matching set. Now, the last costume I’d like to show you before I allow you to wander around and take a look for yourself. The Luke Skywalker costume. Okay, so first is the waist belt. And this has two pouches. Fake leather. Of course, it’s more plastic. Leather. Sounds like leather, but it’s plastic. [Applause] The pouches are empty. It’s cardboard inside, but you can put whatever you want in them. Maybe even put your wallet or cell phone in there. And here it is complete with the rope. the overcoat and the pants. Now, this is a very well-made costume. Thick as mud and very wellmade. The stitching is just extra, you know. But when you lift this up, you can feel the weight. This is a very wellmade costume. It’s quite large. Okay. So, well, I showed you quite a few costumes today and quite a few props. Hopefully, I could uh you know, help put your mind at ease a little bit with some ideas. You know, I know you came in here all frantic. You had no idea what you were doing. Like you said, it’s your your first uh costume party. So, yes. Yes. Yes. Oh, absolutely. That’s there’s plenty of costumes to take a look at. Take your take your time. Uh do not rush or you’ll miss out on things. Trust me. Um and of course, now if you can find your size, please come find me. I’ll be more than happy to help you pick out a right size. We have we have multiples of each costume, multiple sizes of each costume in the back. So, yeah. Yeah. No worries at all. What’s that? Oh, this here. This is one of our, you know, space themed sci-fi masks. It does look pretty, doesn’t it? And it actually lights up. Let’s see if I can need batteries. Oh, there it is. and see. Pretty neat, huh? And of course, it has cushioning the inside as well, right here, here, and here. It’s very soft. But this is one of our, you know, space themed mass. And we have a whole another mass section over there. This here’s not even here. So, if you go down that aisle right there, see that? Okay. Then take a left and follow that all the way down to the very end. And then the wall on the right. You’ll see all the mass. Hundreds of them. I swear. Oh yes, absolutely. If you’re interested in a mask, there will be a letter followed by a number. Okay? So remember that and then come find me or one of the other employees and we’ll be able to get it for you. It’s kind of a little system that we have. it. Well, is there anything else that I can help you with today as of right now? Okay. All right. Well, yeah.
