The subtle slam at Johnny Depp, never wanting to do another of his characters, was off putting to me to say the least. You may have not followed the trial or researched what he went through, but it was gross and abuse at it's worst. He lost part of a finger, was slandered, and beaten black and blue. He was a victim, not Amber! So the little jab of an abuse survivor, told me I won't support anyone that does that.

As someone who did a big closet purge not long ago, let's be honest… give away/donate is just what we do when we don't want to be the person who adds to the floating ocean trash problem, but the reality is we're just moving fabric trash around each other's houses and donation businesses. And maybe that's ok! better there than in the ocean. I think closet purge videos could lean into it and just make a "this is trash but I'm not putting it in a landfill" pile if they have the space where to keep it.

i recently found my high school cosplay tote. I graduated in 2015, so it was 10 years ago😅.and oof. those costumes were rough. i was looking at the hems and weird mis sewn pieces and the total lack of lining. its crazy to see how far you've come
I'm 56 years old… HalloweenTown is still a win in my mind, and I wasn't even a kid when it came out. I never even saw it until I watched it with my daughter, oh probably around 2008 or 2009.

one thing i will suggest is to strap down the sides of the plastic tubs with tape, this helps prevent any bugs or moisture from getting in, esp if you overstuffed the container lol
what i do is i put the end of the tape on the lid, pull some out, and then press it in with my hand so that the tape holds the lid to the tub. i usually do about 3 of these
organizational tip i got from a friend last time i moved! have a spreadsheet or something where you write down what is in each box. bigger need obvs when moving and using cardboard boxes. but i still use it to a degree so i can always look up what i have in the bins in my storage. so if im looking for something i can easily scan my spreadsheet and if "acrylic paints" is listed i know i can go down and find it in the basement. if not i know i have to search the cabinets in my apartmet.
i prefer this to labeling specifics on the boxes/bins since i can more easily move things around this way. as a fellow goblin brain i found this to work really well for me! but to each their own 🙂

As for real historical and vintage pieces if you want to keep them in a good condition maybe it’s a good idea to consult with someone on how to stash them. I’m not sure myself but I ‘ve watched some historical costumers’ videos talking about how fragile these pieces may be
