If you could figure out how to replace or thrift clear wedges (like the heel style of shoe) i think that would have the most stability while maintaining the illusion. Could also be fun to create it like an illusion boot cover that attaches to the pants some how. Like a sock for over the shoe so you can potentionally have the shoes for other stuff instead of them being one use?

If you were willing to digitally enhance the costume by using green screen fabric, you could probably also just put green fabric/paint on the heals of the shoes instead of removing them, and then edit them out.
Speaking of little guys… If you like Zelda, I think a korok friend would be so cute to make and they are totally you aesthetic. Also, speaking of Zelda, a "But make it vintage" of Kilton would be sooooo fun to make, I think.

For the hooves, you could try the method that uses wedge heels and you just cover the wedge heel with loads of fur. It doesn’t look as great as the proper resin ones but it would work!

However, just a gentle question, I often have a feeling you'd need more time for your projects? I'm not here to advice or anything as that's not my place to say and I fully understand that a schedule exists, but I wonder if more time would make the projects more relaxing and allow more time for experimenting and possible missteps. Allowing you to be more happy with the results ❤ Not to say everything you do isn't amazing, I really love all you create and enjoy the mood in your videos. Just a thought
(P.S. Also whenever cutting expanding foam with a hot knife, remember to use a respiratory mask! This goes to everyone. The fumes are toxic)

If you're going to green screen, why not green screen the heel?
Would making a full high heel with a clear material for the hooves work? It could support the ball and arch of your foot. Maybe a clear resin with part of the faux fur covering the leather of the boot cast into the resin.
Not all Turkish delight is created equal but I do like it anyway. But also, Edmund and the kids had been on ration cards for years at that point, any sweet would have made brain go brrr
it you make the shoes again paint the heel bright green and digitally edit them out for comfort.
I love it! You looked so cute with the little ears and horns! I'm so impressed with the hooves even if they did die. I may have to make a little goat tail for all of my skirts tho…
I painted faux fur before with watered down acrylic paint and then brused it out with a pet slicker brush so it won't stick. It stayed almost as soft and fluffy as it was originally.
it wasn't a main part of the vid, but i'm SO GLAD you kept the goatee for 'Lady Tumnus'. i love when people keep the facial hair for fem fauns/satyrs/etc
collab with a shoe youtuber for the hooves, maybe get some free/cheap shoes for the cross community opportunity, plus they'd get to make something wacky that they never get to 😀
